no live sound from virtual keyboard

Music Maker Soundtrack Edition is useless to me because it will not play sound from virtual keyboard at all (but will play a recording from same). I am using Windows 7 Home Premium on an Acer, with Behringer UCA202 external sound device, and no matter what combination of settings I use in the program's Audio Record and Program Settings, nothing happens. I use Magix Audio Cleaning Lab extensively with no sound trouble at all. Oh well, nice try.

Hi,

Mine works fine. Watch this tutorial on getting started in MusicMaker.

Sometimes you have to press on a key in the selected instrument screen and then try the on-screen keyboard. You did select an instrument first, I hope?

By virtual keyboard, do you mean the one under the Keyboard tab?

Post screen shots of your program settings under Audio/Midi tab with the most likely settings, and a screen shot of the main screen showing the arranger area, keyboard and an instrument open.

Lastly, could it be that you are monitoring the output through the Behringer headphones but you don't have any plugged in?
