No Image in editing window

I have Movie Edit Pro Plus (19.0.1.23). I have three videos recently recorded. One of them loads into the edit window normally with an image so I can split it into 30 minute segments for scene parsing. The other two appear to load normally but there is no image so editing is impossible. All three are MTS files which play normally in Media Player Classic. How do I get the image into the editing window?

Can you provide MediaInfo data for the file that loads OK, and one that does not - see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required if you are not familiar with MediaInfo.

@rickduley Hi, i'm not sure what you've done with that second file that 'does load' but it looks like there a few videos in that mediainfo,

You can upload that info straight on here,

Open MediaInfo, choose Text from the view option, Right click - Select all, then Copy & Paste in a comment here,

The file that will not load is not a 'standard format' ie it is a MPG file wrapped in a .MTS (AVCHD) file format - from the MediaInfo data the relevant data is:

Complete name                            : L:\Movie Archive\The Enforcer\Enforce_.mts
Format                                   : BDAV
Format/Info                              : Blu-ray Video

Format                                   : MPEG Video
Format version                           : Version 2

For the file that does load from MediaInfo the relevant data is:

Complete name                            : L:\Movie Archive\Roswell 1947\The Roswell Tapes - 1.mp4
Format                                   : MPEG-4
Format profile                           : Base Media / Version 2

Format                                   : AVC
Format/Info                              : Advanced Video Codec

Was the file that does not load also captured with Snagit?

If so it looks like the incorrect file format was selected?

The file that does not load requires converting into into a standard MPG file format.

My fault. 😬 I sent you MediaInfo for the wrong file. The actual file that did not load was this

Somehow it got recorded in the wrong format even though it says it is MTS. I do not know how that could happen but it has and that explains the failure to load.
