New Update Has Limited My Features

Kamille-Hackney wrote on 11/14/2021, 4:13 PM

You can check from my purchases that I should have the full Magix Music Maker but after the latest update now it says I can't covert any of my audio to different formats unless I buy a now "pro" feature. I have the full version and I was always able to convert the audio into different formats until now. Now I had to buy this ridiculous $10 add-on that I never needed in the first place. I want my money back.

Hi,

First off, there is no "full" Magix Music Maker (MM). MM is free and has been for a few years. Also, there is no "pro" feature. There are Editions, like 2021 Premium Edition, 2022 Premium Edition, EDM Edition, which gets activated when you put the activation code into the Music Maker startup dialogue.

There is MM2022 version (30.x.x.x) which is free. Is that what you have installed? The startup screen is like this:

You need to log in (Join button). Your latest Edition should show up (after maybe a minute) - but only if you have logged in.

Which Edition shows up on the Welcome screen? 28.x, 29.x or 30x?

Is it Plus or Premium?

Nothing to buy for the moment. Then, go into the program, and go to Downloads and download and install everything on the list.

Once you've told us which version of the Program that you have and which is the latest Edition (Premium or Plus) that you have, then we can guide you further.

@Kamille-Hackney You can also try to go into the program settings and click on the button to clean up the store. The will clean the cache and usually helps.

I've already done all this. I'm supposed to have Magix Music Maker Plus, but now after the update it brought me to the normal Magix Music Maker. I've tried activating mine but it just brings me back to the intro screen of MM. Also going on the website to reinstall previous programs doesn't work either because it shows I download multiple editions of Magix Music Maker but only allows me to install Music Maker 80's edition and none of the others for some reason.

@Kamille-Hackney Have you maybe registered your version to a different user account?
