My software code has already been used, but i just entered it

I purchased Music Maker Plus and a MIDI keyboard from an electronics store. I downloaded Music Maker and set up the keyboard and everything went good until I decided to activate Music Maker Plus. I clicked "Enter serial number" and entered my code, but it responded with the following message: "This serial number has already been used by another user." This is strange to me, because I have not used the code before. What should I do?

@GamaGamer Was everything sealed? Maybe you bought an already used copy that was returned or somebody opened it and used the code without buying it.

@SP. It was sealed like normal (I presume) The store is in München and I live in Split, Croatia.

@GamaGamer

Hi

It sounds like this may be a returned product you have purchased and you could explain your situation and also ask for a refund by contacting them.

@GamaGamer You can also try to contact Magix sales support at infoservice@magix.net

I'm not sure if they can help you, but it's worth a try. Perhaps they can give you a replacement license.
