Is this the trial version of MEP 2016?  If so the program has limited export functions until the full program has been purchased and activated.

Which export option from the top dropdown menu in MP4 export dialog box are you selecting?

We also need your computer specification - processor make and model, amount of computer memory (RAM), which graphics card / chipset you are using.
