My 2016 version making its own decisions while editing ruining mywork.

I have been looking forward to buying premium for over a year now.. but i have taken my 2016 program from a slow windows machine where i could only play up to 14 tracks simultaneously, to an intel i7 with 16Gb of ram. I assumed i would be much better off.. but for the first time it has literally started changing things without asking, deleteing certain tracks, which then drops back a track to all the fx and automation on the track behind... deleting all FX on all tracks. All of these things are ruining hours of work.. I am not going to buy the new version if these problems haven't already been addressed and fixed? This has never happened to me on any other daw and i have been using DAW's since PRO1 on a bbc computer, ive had acid since it came out and now use cubase, magix, reason.. i have tried the premium demo and look forward to getting it but maybe you can shed some light onto my issue as to why it might be Going Ai on me and changing thing it may not be able to cope with??? i might add that this is also happening when i get to 14 tracks... i'm going to upload my work that this happening to to see if you can find the issue.
