MusicMaker Premium new patch 24.1.4.68

browj2 wrote on 12/19/2016, 11:02 PM

Changes in patch 24.1.4.68 compared to 24.1.3.57

• Various improvements to the integrated Store

• Tooltips for the new Mediapool

• Improved management for instruments

• Optimized Soundpool import

• "Backwards" audio effect now works again

• Modifications to design and other bug fixes

I have not checked out much, but I did notice that the Yellow range bar seems to work now with double-clicking in the space to the right - it now covers the entire project (song). Also, creating jump markers works again.

Do you know if this patch is available for earlier versions, like MM 2014 Premium? Or just later ones?

This patch is only available for the latest version, the one with no year that is actually 2017. The patch contains updates to features that are not in older versions. I should have mentioned that. I doubt that there will be any patches for older versions.

Thanks, John. One other question. For someone still learning the program, so you think there's a reason to "upgrade" to the latest (2017) version, or will I most likely have all the features I need in 2014 premium?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

I don't know how and what you are using so I can't say. Take a close look at the features advertised by Magix on their web site to see if you need any of those that you don't have. I always go for the newest to get additional instruments and Soundpools.

Thanks. For the record I'm using MM2014 Premium. Am happy with it, except I've switched to Win 10, and I'm not sure 14 is entirely happy with 10. It crashes every now and then. Any thoughts on whether versions released after Win 10 are any better?
