Music Maker PS2 not responding

Hello, I'm trying to run Music Maker for PS2. Every time it gets past the title screen, it asks me if I want to start the tutorial...but no buttons will produce any response. My controller is fine, I even used my spare one on it afterwards, and I tried it in a second PS2 with the same results. The disc isn't scratched at all, and appears flawless. Do I have a faulty disc? If so, is there anything I can do about this? I was really looking forward to trying out the software. Thanks...

You would have to contact Sony I think. but it sounds like a faulty disc to me.

i think musik maker is not kompatible with ps2

Thanks...but are you sure Sony would be able to replace the disc, since Magix published it? It seems like it's really hard to get customer support from Magix, I was all over the site yesterday before I wound up here.
