Music Maker Premium 2021 reset to Free Edition

The "Activated Content..." window is empty. When I go to the MAGIX Account window and enter my Music Maker 2021 serial number, by copying from the clipboard from the email you sent me Nov 27 2020 with the serial number, and press the Activate button, nothing happens.

 

The program has somehow lost the fact that I have activated already and will not let me re-enter the number and re-Activate.

 

I am on a PC clone running Windows 7.

 

Please advise.

@Philip-J Please go into the program settings and click on the button to clean up the store.

Can you expand what you mean by this - do you mean on a virtual machine (VM) such as Parallels (if on a MAC) or Oracle Virtual Box ?

I have done what you suggest and the Activated Content window now correctly shows my activated content (Music Maker Premium Edition 2021 and 2020, and Music Maker Plus Edition 2021 and 2020) and I also see the Notes and Song Maker options. I believe the problem is solved. I may not be using the program until next weekend. If I have a further problem, I will come back to ask, but again, I believe the problem is solved. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your post John EB. The Clean Up the Store option seems to have fixed the problem. I was able to re-enter my serial number and log in to the store. I am not on a virtual machine. Just an IBM PC clone a friend built for me. It runs Windows 7 because I declined to upgrade to Windows 10.
