Music Maker Premium 2016(download) running very slow and missing samples

I have upgraded to 2016 premium, download took over three days to complete. It still has missing componants and a considerable amount of sample contect. It also flags up a message to let me know that all.TAK samples are unavailable. Midi is a major problem.

It is so slow as to be almost unusable.

I have contacted Magix via email a week ago without reply, getting impatient and considering ditching it. Im on windows ten with a fastish processor and 6 gb of RAM so it should not be such a pain in the arse. Shame cause I want it to work so much

There have been several members reporting a slow down in MMM 2016.

What is your full computer specification and are you using a NVidia or AMD graphcs card? Please be specific with information - ie a fastish processor - is to vague.

The program is in 2 parts - have you downloaded and installed the second part - see under Help, Update program / upgrade functions, Download free synthesizers . . . . ?

Was Windows 10 an upgrade from Windows 7 or 8?

Was MMM 2016 installed prior to upgrading to Windows 10.

my computer is AMDA4-6210 APU Radeon A3 Graphics.

1.8GHz 8gb Ram.

Internet speed is poor as wireless is downstairs I will be getting Mains network soon

I have insta;lled upgrade functions and content

System was windows 8 and upgraded to 10, MM MX premium does not run so was advised by Magix to upgrade to 2016. MM2016 was loaded onto windows 10

I have more specific additional notes.

On loading of samples I get many many cannot load messages.

This happens on Soundpools where I have missing .TAK samples . Instrument catagories show None loops (****offline) no .OGG samples anywhere is that right?

Sample load speeds are slow

Locating samples on Arranger timeline on the bar for example is a nightmare of backing and going forward till it sticks

Messages that say this patch is not for this plug in(midi)

Messages to say that my version of iNdependance is not compatible(i have downloaded and installed the latest version in my plug in folder

Start up times in Midi are very very annoying

I have 2 Revolta instruments showing

In programe preferences I have tried all sorts of Buffer variations and it is still not fuctioning correctly from not reading blocks to very noisy and stuttery

Loosing all patience and it is taking the fun out of it

I presume this is a laptop?

Have there been any problems with other software slowing down / behaving oddly since the upgrade to Windows 10?
Have you installed the November 2015 update to Windows 10?

If No to 1 and Yes to 2 then I think you need to contact Magix support - it looks like the installation is well messed up. Magix have diagnostic tools that can analyse your computer.

You could run a check to ensure Windows 10 is installed correctly following steps 3 - 11 in this procedure
