Music maker is missing from effects bar after updating to 64bit

After being prompted to update Music maker to 64bit, I find that the Song Maker element is missing from the effects bar. I was ask during installation if I would like to keep my old version and install the new version separately which I did but now I am wondering if this may have effected the program and I should have just overwritten the old version with the new 64bit one instead.

Hi,

You did good to keep the old version, especially to use any remaining credits that may not be transferred to the new version.

Song Maker has been completely redone and is much better, in my opinion, but the old version has disappeared. However, in order to take advantage of the new version and other features of this new 64 bit version, you have to purchase (or upgrade) the Plus or Premium version. See the comparison chart. Right now, the upgrade to Premium is less than Plus, so definitely go for the Premium.

However, keep in mind that this is a brand new version and that there are still some bugs to be worked out. One of them is the use of video in MMM. Right now, it is limited to avi files.
