@Michael-Lawson What are your computer system specifications? I personally could save the Beatbox error on my computer by resetting the program settings under the File > Settings menu.

Michael-Lawson wrote on 12/26/2021, 4:52 PM

I can't even do that. The program locks up.

@Michael-Lawson

Please answer the question that @SP. wrote: What are your computer system specifications?

Also, check that your Antivirus and/or Firewall is not blocking the connection to the Magix server.

@Michael-Lawson Yes, please tell us your specifications.

You can also reset the program settings by deleting the MusicMaker.ini file in the folder C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\mm30. Maybe this will help.

Maybe it helps if you disable the internet connection before opening Music Maker. Maybe it freezes up while connecting to the online database.

Michael-Lawson wrote on 12/27/2021, 6:39 AM

By computer specs what do you mean?

SP. wrote on 12/27/2021, 7:17 AM

@Michael-Lawson

For example: Windows version number, processor, graphics card, amount of RAM, sound hardware (microphone (XLR or USB?), headphones (stereo jack or USB?), sound card, audio interface), MIDI hardware, which screens you use (how many), whether all drivers are updated.

If you tell us the computer model number, we can usually look all internal parts up on the internet in case you didn't change any parts.

@Michael-Lawson

Hi

. . . . By computer specs what do you mean? . . . .

See this topic for details of what is required and please quote the processor and graphics card/chipset make/model in full.

For example of how to quote the specification, see my signature.

Quoting the make and model of your computer is a last resort as most manufacturers have multiple variants for the same model.

Can someone please help??

Michael-Lawson wrote on 12/27/2021, 4:18 PM

Here are the two errors, the second one is just a frozen screen. I've tried turning off the internet, restarting the program and it still freezes up and says cannot initiate the beatbox plugin.

SP. wrote on 12/27/2021, 5:19 PM

@Michael-Lawson Music Maker has no official Windows 11 support, so it could be caused by your Windows version, but I'm not sure. Other users here can use the program fine on Windows 11.

Maybe it has something to do with your HP Pavilion All-in-One 24? This looks like different, non standard design of a computer which is stored inside a screen? Maybe some parts don't work well with Music Maker.

On your second screenshot you can see a menu in the middle of the screen. This menu should be visible in the Store-tab on the right side after you click on the drop down selection, but not in the middle of the screen. There is definitely something broken.

I would suggest you contact technical support. https://www.magix.info/us/support/article/how-do-i-contact-technical-support--1513/

If issue occurs with 30.0.4.44 version, might want to try with previous version 30.0.3.39 (http://dl04.magix.net/2021/MusicMaker30/Music_Maker_30.0.3.39_INT_210927_16-17_82878DA2.exe).

I.e. I encountered myself freezing isues with 30.0.4.44, which did not exist with 30.0.3.39

Thank you. That did work but I still keep getting the error message, the following VST plug-in cannot be loaded: Beatbox.vst3

Is there a fix for this?

SP. wrote on 12/28/2021, 1:35 PM

@Michael-Lawson Try again to reset the program settings like described above.
