Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

First we need a lot more information about your computer (OS version, processor, CPU, hard drive, RAM, etc., etc.) and about which version and variant of MM you have updated to.

As an initial suggestion however, I suspect you may have been caught out by the fact that Magix changed the format of their soundpools and samples from .ogg (?) to their own proprietary mxcogg. As a result I understand that users of the older instruments etc. have to update them to the new format in order to continue to use them. I believe there is a way to do this but you will need input from other users who have gone through this process to advise you specifically.

Hi,

What exactly do you mean by updating? Did you reinstall it or select update on-line under Help?

What is the version that you have? See under Help, About.

If you reinstalled the program, then you have to install all of the extra content, instruments, functions and soundpools.

You mention instruments and styles. Instruments are one thing, soundpool loops with styles are another. Please clarify exactly what you are doing, given the above.
