Hi,

Music Maker is limited in its features and tempo is one of the limitations. Music Studio may allow tempo changes, Samplitude Music Studio definitely does. Not sure about the click track in Samplitude Music Studio, but it works in Samplitude Pro X2.

Hi

. . . . Does anyone know if there is a way to change the tempo of an entire project multiple times throughout a song? . . . .

The tempo can be adjusted in MMM for soundpool, audio files and midi objects - however there are 3 gotchas:-

  1. it has to be applied to individual objects on the timeline

  2. without changing the pitch, the objects adjusted will be lengthened - slower tempo - or shortened - faster tempo, as shown below:

  3. The indicated tempo on the object will not change

  Soundpool/audio object.

  MIDI object

Right click the object to be changed and select Tempo & Pitch, Timestretch and Transpose and adjust as required
