Hi

. . . . <code>0x80000003</code> . . <text>BREAKPOINT</text> . . . <module>mgxasio4_x64.dll</module>

What is your computer specification - see this topic for details of what is required and please quote the processor and graphics card names/models in full, and the Music Maker version and variant - Free, Plus, premium or special edition - you have.

Are the audio drivers up to date?

Try temporarily turning off your Antivirus Folder protection/Realtime scan/Ransomware feature(s) and start the program.

Hello, Welcome

Have you tried running a Malware scan on your Pc in case of corrupt dll file.

You could also go into command prompt running as administrator and type sfc /scannow, this command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files.

Do not leave command prompt window until scannow has completed 100%

Magix Support helped. It turned out to be compatibility issues between the universal ASIO driver (which is used by the default software) and my Blackmagic Intensity hardware.

Temporarily renaming the problem file helps "mgxasio4_x64.dll", launch Music Maker without it and reconfigure the driver setup in the program settings (hotkey "P") for example Direct Sound.

For further work, you need to use the drivers provided by the manufacturer of the audio equipment, and not the universal ASIO driver.

Thank you all, good luck to all! Moderators can close this topic.

@Leo-SC Try uninstalling the Magix Low Latency audio driver like it is described here:

press the Windows key + R on your computer keyboard, and type REGEDIT in the Open field:

Then navigate to:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ASIO > Magix Low Latency 2016:

Now, simply right click the Magix Low Latency 2016 folder, and delete it.

https://www.magix.info/us/forum/audio-issue--1290482/#ca1738999

After that, delete the Musicmaker.ini file in the folder C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\mm30 to reset the program settings and and start Music Maker again.

Hi

What is the actual issue you are having and is there an error message ?

If there is an error message a screen shot of the error dialog box would help or please quote the error message in full.

Are you are using an external USB audio device,? If so then unplug it before starting Music Maker.

If the program starts then plug the audio device back in, open the Program settings, Audio / MIDI tab and then select the audio devices ASIO driver.

Hi!
this is the screenshot of all the errors I got when trying to start the software.

I am using an external USB audio device, tried unplugging it but didn't work. Whenever I try and launch the software I get this error. Thx for the reply!

@Leo-SC There is now a problem with qtwebenginecoremx...dll in your screenshot. I would suggest you completely uninstall the program and reinstall it again after restarting your computer.
