I used Sound Forge/Acid years ago (came installed on a sony pc). I recently purchased Sound Forge Audio Studio and for the most part it's the same. One thing I can't figure out is when adding multiple tracks/audio files it's in like a separate window vs how I remember it being sort of "stacked or stepped into layers" in one track. I'm not exactly sure how to explain this, but basically I could have 3 files loaded in one screen and then I could either mute one or two files and just play one. Or I could play them all simultaneously, leaving me the option to say slide file two over to actually start 30 seconds into the track or so on.
Can someone help me with this? Is this available in Sound Forge Audio Studio? Or maybe just the Pro version??? Or possibly even Acid Pro is what I'm looking for, based on the photo on the product page, that's what I'm looking to do with different files??? Please Help!
