@Shawn-McCullough - struggling to think what could be causing this. Do you see it when you do a realtime render?

@Shawn-McCullough

In addition to what @sheppo has written, what are you using to listen to these .mp3 files?

Jeff

Win 11 Pro 64 bit, Intel i7 14700, 16 GB RAM, NVidia RTX 4060 and Intel UHD770 Graphics, MOTU 8-Pre f/w audio interface, VPX, MEP, Music Maker, PhotoStory Deluxe, Photo Manager Deluxe, Xara 3D Maker 7, Samplitude Pro X7 Suite, Reaper, Adobe Audition 3, CS6 and CC, 2 x Canon HG10 cameras, 1 x Canon EOS 600D, Akaso EK7000 Pro Action Cam

@sheppo not sure how you see reverb but when I'm making the song, I even click the fx little icon to make sure there are no effects, (turn them all to grey, not blue) on every track.

@emmrecs well, when creating, just the UI but render as MP3 blooms up like crazy...

What I've done as a workaround is to actually ADD and effect to the main, and then turn down all the settings to 0, so it tricks into rendering it correctly. Since the main is showing no effects, its impossible to turn off the reverb. I can to a quick export and you can hear it. Gonna start a new project.

@Shawn-McCullough

Thanks for the additional information.

Sorry, I don't think I made myself clear; what I'm asking is what "program" are you using to listen to the rendered .mp3 files, outside of Acid?

Just regular Windows media player on PC, but also via webserver through firefox and opera (MP3 delivered over the web). Just installed the lastest updates and it (might?) have fixed the issue? Having trouble reproducing the overdone reverb. Maybe it fixed itself.
