After launching the software, I'll drag and drop a video into the import section. Then very shortly after the entire movie studio freezes and I have to force quit. This wasn't an issue at all in the past few projects I've been working on. It only just started.

I couldn't find a forum for mine. If there is a forum for my product it is not explicitly labeled as "Vegas" or "Movie Studio" The two closest forums I see are for "Movie Edit Pro" or "Video Pro X" If one of those is the right forum, I can't know that based on the fact it's not labeled accordingly to what my product is actually called.
At the top of this forum under Important Posts, there are two with the following capitalized and in bold:
