You broke it - you fix it.
I'm a registered OWNER of this software and it has worked beautifully for many years. Now when I open MY software it gives me a error message and sends me to YOUR website - as if you expect me to BUY an upgrade. I'm not ever going to buy anything from anybody who steels my software. I'm not asking for your support on a legacy product. I'm demanding that you give me the use of the software that I purchased!. I received a link to download your "so called" upgrade but when I try to install it, the message says "I have a NEWER version currently on my system and I must uninstall the newer version first". ARE YOU NUTS!!!! You want me to uninstall the program that I own so I can install (God only knows what) the software that your sending me. I'm running my Movie Studio Platinum Suite on a very stable Windows 7 machine, so don't send me a "fix" that only runs on Windows 10. Again, YOU BROKE IT - YOU FIX IT! All I want from you is to once again allow me to use the software that I OWN. If you do not resolve this issue, I'll be going to the press and be all over social media exposing the thieving crooks that you are.
