Movie Studio 2023 NewBlue Essentials lockup

I have just purchase Movie Studio 2023 Suite. Included with that is NewBlue Essentials, which is one of the main reasons why I bought the Suite version. I installed Movie Studio then went through the process to Activate NewBlue Essential, install it, and apply the serial number to it. The NewBlue components show up in "Effects". When I apply one of the NewBlue effects to my video clip, it has a red X through the video screen and an "FX" watermark (very hard to see). See the attached picture for an example. Then Movie Studio Locks up and is not usable. I have to kill it. The NewBlue Stylizers, that is also part of Suite, works just fine.

I have tried it on many different types of videos, I have tried many different Newblue Essentials effects. All do the same thing.

What is wrong?

Your AWESOME. Followed the instructions and that fixed my problem. No more red X, no more watermark. Great performance and no more lockups. Thanks Promidi!
