Movie Studio 16, .MP4s Stutter And Are Pixilated

Hello,

Movie Studio 16 Build 175

NVidia GForce RTX 3060 Ti

11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900K @ 3.50GHz   3.50 GHz, 64.0 GB RAM

--------------------------

I'm importing an MP4 which is 1.5GB. The MP4 plays properly in Windows Media Player. In Movie Studio, the MP4 stutters and is pixilated during Preview and Render. I don't know if upgrading Movie Studio will solve it or if there are settings I can make. A photo is attached showing the difference. If anyone can kindly provide any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi

. . . . Movie Studio 16 Build 175 . . . .

For this version of Movie Studio you have posted in the wrong forum, this version is a Vegas product - see this topic.

. . . . I don't know if upgrading Movie Studio will solve it . . . .

Version 18 and later are an entirely different program based on the Magix product Movie Edit Pro, now rebranded to Movie Studio, and has a different interface, workflow, effects etc, and it can import the old VMS file format with objects and cuts only, no effects, transitions etc.

If you wish to look at the latest version, I would suggest you test the trial version first.
