Yes, but that only offered to download the tutorial movies. I wonder if it's because I'm only evaluating the product at the moment - I haven't bought it yet. Will that affect what is available to download?

Thanks Terry. Kinda makes it hard to evaluate when there's bits missing but I guess I'll get by..!
Cheers
Chris
Hi Chris,
I was wrong, sorry - you should be able to download the free resources even during a trial.
John has reminded me that the only requirement is to register the software trial. I didn't go through a trial myself but my research before my reply turned up several posts with phrases like "...if you've purchased the download version...then you can download free extras," and I obviously put the wrong emphasis on 'purchased'.

So that brings us back to looking for the cause of your problem. Must say I'm at a loss on that. After you selected all the items here
and clicked Continue, what exactly happened? I do recall it takes a long time.
On my machine that list comes up with the tutorial vids and that's it - there's nothing else on offer. It's strange, especially seeing as I was able to download the effects bundle OK.
Thanks for your suggestions. I've finally discovered the tech support link while in the account section so lets see what they come up with. I also sent them a couple of bugs to think about while I was at it ;-)
I first thought that my backgrounds and collages were empty because I was using a trial version, as you clarify Chris. But then I purchased the software (Movie Edit Pro 2013). I still don't see them. I have run the download patch from the site as well. Anyone know what's going on with that?
I don't know what you mean by 'running the download patch'. Have you gone into Help - Free Download? What do you see there in the Installation Manager?
