I purchased Magix Plus and wanted to use mp3 so I attempted to buy the More Tracks & Formats add on but all 4 times with two different cards it hasn't worked. It keeps saying "error - An error has occurred during the purchase process." it also charged me a dollar each time. I'm just trying to record my mixtape i need wav. and mp3 formats, can you assist me?

Welcome to the Magix forums.

I assume the program you are running is Music Maker Plus. Is that correct?

I have seen a number of posts to a range of forums where would-be purchasers of downloadable software have experienced problems very similar to yours. The reason seems to be connected to the new 3dSecure authentication system built-in to browsers and required by card issuers and banks. Sometimes using a different browser can resolve this problem. Do you have another one you could try?

As to the $1 charges, I'm pretty confident these will be returned to your account as soon as the card issuer realises that no payment is being taken, though this may take some days.

I don't understand. If you purchased Plus, then More Tracks & Formats comes with it. Did you activate using the activation code for Plus? Did you download and install everything to which you are entitled under the Download button at the upper right?

Sometimes your bank may block a transaction as part of a fraud prevention. Contact them and ask them to allow purchases using the payment transaction company used in the store. My small-town bank calls me when they get a computer-triggered alert event - sometimes the $1.00 test is seen as a test probe by an entity with malicious intent.
