@bill-n You can install it on two devices. Are you using a Windows tablet?

To elaborate, you can 'activate' and use Sound Forge on two (2) devices simultaneously. It can be 'installed' on an unlimited number of devices (but cannot be used unless activated).
However, it can be deactivated on one of the devices and re-activated on an alternate device.

At some point if you wish to deactivate SF on one of the devices, visit the MAGIX Service Center and log into your account, go to My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate. This option can be used once a month. The other option can be used as often as you wish. which I recall is in the SF 'Help' menu, 'Deactivate the Software on this PC'. The PC must be connected to the internet though.
All the above does not apply to '365' subscription versions which can only be on one device.
