MMM 2022 installer does not download the installation file

zadiac wrote on 3/22/2022, 10:30 AM

Hello.

I purchased MMM 2022 and my installation file does not connect to download the main installation file.

I've contacted my ISP and they're not blocking anything. My firewall and antivirus are disabled. Still I get this message.

Please help, or if someone can point me to the actual installer download link.

Thanks.

Hi

Check that the following Internet protocols are active in Windows Internet options.

Also check that your antivirus firewall is not blocking the Download Manager from accessing the Internet.

Hi John.

All those protocols are active and as stated in my OP, firewall and AV was disabled when trying to install. Still get that message. Any other suggestions?

@zadiac

Hello, Welcome

Did you also disable Windows defender?

Have you tried to right click and "Run as Administrator"

Hi

I don't have windows defender. My version of windows has it removed. I have bitdefender and it was disabled during installation attempt. Firewall was also disabled. I have run it as admin. Nothing.

I even tried installing it in safe mode with networking enabled. Nada.

Hi all

Thank you for your suggestions, but I eventually found the problem. I have "Windows Firewall Control" installed and even though I gave the installer permission to connect, WFC still blocked it somehow. After disabling it completely, the installer connected. Sorry for wasting your time and have a great day!
