MMM 17 Premium - Step by Step: How to use a synthesizer to make a music? (for example, how to properly use Saxophonia)

aruanan wrote on 12/23/2014, 5:43 AM

Hi, All!

I can´t write/record directly from Saxophonia keyboard to the music object or track. What´s the function of the keypad displayed on the Saxophonia screen?... the same occurs with the others instruments (Jazz Drums, Space Pad, etc.).

Where can I find detailed manuals of each instrument that make up MMM 17 Premium?

I have spend a lot of time researching this information ... and so far I have not had any success.... unfortunately.

Best regards.

Hi,

The keyboard with each instrument is to be able to hear the instrument and see where there are some special keys that change the mode of the main keys, for example, a repeating note. You cannot record using these.

I don't know about version 17, but in version 2013 and more recent, there is an on-screen keyboard listed in the tabs of the media pool window. You select an instrument at the left of the arranger, then play on the on-screen keyboard or an external keyboard, or you create a blank midi object and use the midi editor to create your song. You do not need to have the instrument panel itself open to do this, just the instrument selected at the extreme left of the screen.

See this quick video that I did.

There should be information in the manual about the main synths, like Vita. I suggest that you start there, and read more or the manual.

Good luck!

Hi, Browj2.

Thanks for your reply... but unfortunately it does not solve my problem.

Before posting my question I had seen the video link you sent me. The link refers to Magix Music Maker 2015 and not to MMM 17 Premium. In MMM17 Premium things do not work as in MMM2015.... unfortunately.

There also found no detailed manual of each instrument. This complicates things even more.

Best regards.
