Every time I start mm 64 it will completely load up then suddeny shuts down giving an erroe report stating MM no longer works. Eception code 0xC0000005 Description ACCESS_VIOLATION thread name MuMa Location
The exception error 0x0000005 is a generic Windows error and could be a result of drivers not being up to date, insufficient memory etc which means we need more information:
Your computer specification, Windows version and Program version number - see this topic for details of what is required, please quote processor and graphics card names and models in full.
Also:
Are you working from a USB external drive?
Is the program crashing on start up, when loading a project, or carrying out another action?
If crashing on loading a project - has the Orange Vocoder been used in that project?
I am working off pc hard drive and not usb. It crashes when loading project or not and also while updating. within 5 to 10 seconds after program loads up completely
Thanks for the system specs which I have edited to remove a lot of irrelevant/unnecessary data from your above post - there is no information on the graphics card installed.
What is the version number and variant, ie free, Plus, Premium or one of the special editions, of MMM 2021 you have.
. . . . within 5 to 10 seconds after program loads up completely . . . .
Can MMM2021 connect to the Internet looking for updates or through the Store? Check that your antivirus is not blocking the program by temporarily turning off the Folder protection/Real time scan/Ransomware protection features and run the program.
@lance-arrant Problems with qt5widgets.dll can be caused by using multiple monitors with different resolutions. It is helpful to completely reinstall the application. It can also help to remove all monitors and just test it with one monitor at a time. You can also try different cables (HDMI, DVI, VGA).
