MM 2019 Premium - Soundpools always available for download

Jonathan-Torres wrote on 11/26/2018, 10:55 AM

I upgraded to MM 2019 Premium this weekend. Every time I open Download Manager I see a various # of soundpools that need to be downloaded. I click Download All and let the process download and install. I close MM and reopen it and then open Download Manager again and I see the same soundpools or a different set of soundpools available to download.

For example, I purchased EDM Anthems last night, downloaded and installed it. I closed the program and reopened it. When I go to Download Manager I see the individual soundpools available for download again.

Is there a way to finally complete this installation or am I stuck in some kind of loop?

Thanks

EDIT: I tried the solution of clearing the Store cache from the post below and that seems to have fixed the problem. I no longer see any soudpools that need to be updated. I take that as a good sign for now.

Does this topic help. It's about Soundpool download not completing.

Hi,

Yup, I get the same. I'm on the fifth iteration. It's getting rid of the mxcogg files and replacing them with ogg, making them available to other programs, like Samplitude and Movie Edit Pro. Yes!

I suggest that you keep going for several iterations, depending on how many Soundpools that you obtained through the Store, or until there are no mxcogg files left.

EDIT: It's not getting all of them, even after 6 or 7 iterations, so I guess it's time to advise Magix.
