MIDI Pitchbend messages sent while playing keyboard

In Music Maker 2015 when playing the keyboard live (midistart music keyboard) when adding pressure to the keys MIDI pitchbend messages are sent, is this normal behavior? How can I disable this? I know I can delete them in the MIDI editor. Windows 7 64bit. Thanks for your help.

Update: Found out this keyboard has a similar problem in other MIDI programs, as a work around: the other program allows me to set the pitchbend range of the keyboard to 0 which allows the pitchbend change messages to be suppressed by the software. Can't figure how to suppress these messages in Music Maker.

Hi

. . . . . when adding pressure to the keys MIDI pitchbend messages are sent . . . .

Do this occur once the keys have reached the bottom of their travel and you apply more pressure or does it react this way depending on the velocity ou press the keys?

. . . . midistart music keyboard . . .

Is this one of the Miditech keyboards?  If so which model ?  Check the drivers or software that came with it,  to see if they have control settings allowing functions to be remapped, turned on / off etc.

Also check the keyboard manual - some keyboards have the mapping controls built in.

The bottom of their travel and adding pressure including when the keys are relased. I guess the pitchbend messages should be aftertouch messages.

>>miditech - black line series MIDISTART MUSIC 49 keys bundled with the software

The keyboard doesn't offer any internal setting (menus) to a user, nor does the driver.

>> Update:

I have sent an email to miditech and their reply was that the keyboard is defective. I have returned the keyboard to magix. I hope this was a one off issue and that my new keyboard doesn't present the same problem or I'll start to think this is a manufacturing problem.  I'll keep you updated.
