Midi Interface Suggestions

I want to plug my guitar into a midi interface so i can connect with the Magix Music Maker 16. I am not sure if there is a specific brand of interface I should use or if all of them are typically ready for MM16. Any help would be appreciated. I just want to plug in and go!

If it is your intent to record your guitar playing, you need an *audio* interface with an "instrument" input jack, with or without MIDI. The make and model is generally not significant.

MIDI is a computer control language and does not transmit audio signals. It is used for the control of electronic musical instruments and devices.

A guitar cannot be used as a MIDI controller usless it is connected to a guitar synth module or MIDI converter.
