Midi controller issue (M-Audio Oxygen 61)

Andrew-F wrote on 12/28/2020, 8:08 AM

I've got to the midi working with Music Manager, have sound etc.

Have recorded audio per channel, have the sliders working etc for volume.

But I can't see to get the main control buttons working - record, stop, play, back that little group in the middle. I press the buttons but nothing happens. The buttons in the software work fine.

Is there some sort of midi key map I have to load to work with Music Maker (I have premium 2021).

thanks

Andrew

@Andrew-F

Hi

Assuming you are referring to the controls on the Oxygen 61, the mapping in Music Maker does not AFAIK cater for these functions.

Yes on the Oxygen 61 there are four buttons for stop, record, play, previous and just hoped there was some way to get those buttons to link to the music maker controls which are the same in the software.

Is there no way to get the two linked? maybe there are other Oxygen 61 controls which won't work with the software also? I could use the sliders to control volume for each track which made me think it should be possible.
