Sound Forge 10 is not seeing my microphone audio. My Microsoft is set to allow access to the microphone, and allow apps access, Volume mixer shows microphone sound on and shows sound in microphone and speaker but is not showing up on Sound Forge or system sounds.
Assuming your Windows 'Privacy' parameters are set to allow the mic in SF. Confirm the correct audio device type is selected (when in doubt, use Classic Wave Driver) The mic must be enabled in the 'Record Device Routing' as well . "Options> Preferences> Audio"
In many set-ups, the record level meter will not display anything unless 'Monitor' is check-marked.
FWIW,, the record UI was significantly changed starting with Pro 11.
