I'm using a one-year old PC with a 3.2 gigahertz Intel Core i7 960 (quad-core) processor, Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate (SP1), 12 GB RAM, over 5TB storage + SSD Drive, ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series Card, SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio, etc., etc. While MEP 17 Plus was a bit 'buggy', and crashed occasionally, it gave me nowhere near the amount of hassle that MX Premium is giving me. This so-called 'upgrade' repeatedly crashes (I've sent at least 6 'crash reports') and is now giving itself an error when making an mp4 (full HD) for transfer to YouTube - it simply gives up. I did a repair install - it managed, creakingly, to make/transfer 1 video, then reverted to its previous bad behaviour.
Does anyone know or have an 'inkling' regarding the cause of this extremely irritating behaviour?
I am rapidly reaching the conclusion that this software 'upgrade' is a complete waste of money.
Also, does anyone know why MX Premium keeps 'falling over' before the write to disc stage when burning NTSC DVDs (seems, so far, to work OK with PAL).
