MEP MX Plus - Timeline Editing and DVD Menu Labelling

Whalebat wrote on 2/24/2012, 10:14 AM

This question actually applies to all versions of MEP Plus.

When I edit a video in time line mode, splicing the video and adding chapter markers.

Then I go to Burn DVD and label the DVD Menus which can take quite a while as I have to play each chapter to identify what part of the video it is and then label it appropriately.

Question / Suggestion For Future Versions

Is it possible to label the chapter  marker so that when I switch to DVD Mode the labelling Text is present when I switch to Burn mode it's all present.

Then all I would need to do is format the DVD Menu Text. fot size etc...

Hi Whalebat

Right click the chapter markers and select Rename - enter the name you want and Ok.

The chapter names will be picked up in the chapter menu - it does depend on the template you use ie you need one that displays text with or without an image for the menu items.

Hi John

I'm not sure why I received an email from admin.

I have already given your reply the thumbs up instead of posting a written answer.

Anyway, it doesn' stop me doing so now, although will probably get another message from admin explaining that my question needs rephrased....

Give me the old forum format anyday :)

Thanks John.

I had seen the "rename" feature on the chapter markers before but had not connected wih their purpose.

It's a great feature and have used it constantly since your explanation was posted.

Thanks again

Have a great day

:)
