MEP MX Plus -- No options available under Captions

Periplex wrote on 10/31/2011, 1:20 AM

Hi.

I just registered a copy of Movie Edit Pro MX Plus (v11.0.3.0), and there seems to be a number of features missing from my installation.

For example, Title --> Captions is completely empty, but I've seen YouTube tutorials where there are many Captions options available.

This is even more perplexing, because the word "Captions" doesn't even appear anywhere in the user manual PDF, despite it being a selection option in the program.

Can someone please explain this?

Periplex,

A couple of points: If you have the download version, there are lots of extras available under 'Help' >> 'Free download...'. I found 'Captions' under my old MEP14+ help file but about all it says are that captions are just one use of the more general title effect, so any title template can be used eg font color or movement like rotation or zoom. Check help under 'Title editor' to see how to make you own.

Hope this helps some,

 Carl

I have 29 items under captions in MEP MX Premium.

Go to help->Free Download to download all the missing content.

I eventually figured it out with the extra downloads from the Help menu.

Massive -- even on my cable connection it took many hours to download all the extras.

Must go and see if I can pay a few dollars extra to have the CD sent to me.
