I'm getting this error message consistently when I try to upload a project to YT:
No such problem uploading same project with MEP MX or 17.
Tried with an already rendered MP4, with same error.
Anyone able to reproduce please?

Have you tried disabling Hardware Acceleration in the Display settings (yep...... that old thing). One thing though not mentioned in that thread is the fact that he is working with discreet mobile graphics and there have been problems (in MX) where the discreet card can not be used for hardware encoding and rendering, which may have some influence in his case. Did you try to use CUDA or OpenCL for the export? Try without it.

Switching from Standard to Alternative mode 1 or 2 made no difference.
My procedure is simply to use the Share menu:
The test project this morning is a single JPG in a project set as shown:
As mentioned, never had any problem with ME17 or MX.
What happens in your case please?

You probably know more German than me. I use the Microsoft Translator available with a Right click on the post when open, in Internet explorer.
I just tested with a 7 second JPEG and it uploaded fine but if I go to the Program settings > Video/Audio>Export and tick "Hardware acceleration for MPEG4/AVCHD export if possible" it fails! This tick sets a tick in the Advanced encoder settings > Hardware acceleration box in the normal Movie > Export to MPEG4 section - which of course you can not see from the Share screen. Setting a tick from either end brings the same result with my JPEG test so I tried with some AVCHD material and get error message saying "the MPEG4 GPU encoding could not be initialised" about half the time so make sure for the time being that you do not try to export with Hardware (GPU, CUDA) acceleration enabled. I hope Magix can sort this out.

Ah, got it, thanks Peter.
As you saw from my last post, I was incorrectly looking at Display Options > Video mode. Now that I've checked Video/Audio > Export I see that I had enabled that HW accel option (on the grounds that it seemed a good idea). With it now disabled, I can export to YT without error.
Am I right that this option is new to 2013? There seem several, plus various changes of the settings' locations. So I've made some comparisons of Program Settings, MX versus 2013, which I'll post in a new thread.
And I've now installed a similar translation tool in Firefox, an extension called gTranslate. That thread you refered me to now makes a lot more sense!

I had the accelorator button pressed and it uploaded a six minute vlog to You Tube no problems but, when I uploaded my 20 minute vlog the screen just froze just after six minutes. Can you tell me what to do to make my vlogs able to be sent to You Tube without having to use MX version to render and send to You Tube.
Very annoying, sorry, but it just is.
