MEP 2013 colour coding disadvantage

IMO the newly introduced 'colour coding' in MEP 2013 has made it far more difficult to read the white text against the light blue background, as you see here:

I've sumbitted a request to Support asking them to consider changing the text to black. Or, better, to remove the colour coding from the top strip for all 3 types, video, audio and text.
