MEP 17 Encoding Error

bmktrains wrote on 12/23/2011, 8:03 PM

Buring was aborted with the following error: Error encoding. Movie Encoding Failed.

That is the error message I get when I try to burn on my newly installed and activated Movie Edit Pro 17.

I am buring to a DVD-R with no data on it. The project is one dvd menu with a short movie- nothing complicated or over-the-top. I am running on Windows Vista. DVDs burn fine for me when testing Windows Movie Maker/ DVD Burning out.

This is the error log:

If you'd used the Search box or browsed the posts covering the last week or two you'd have found several possibly useful suggestions. Here's one from me:

http://www.magix.info/uk/incomplete-burning-of-disk-using-mep-17..knowledge.648049.html

From the error log, it looks as if that's the direct cause of your problem.
