I misinterpreted what was on offer. Yes I had seen that, I thought a separate effects package was being talked about.
Those additions are part of MMS 2025 and not separate plugins such as the ProDad ones as far as I'm aware. So @CarpentersMate would have to install MMS 2025 and use it to benefit from them.

I not sure I entirely agree with you Al about the new AIs (this is confusing, in this font Al looks like AI and vice versa).
I agree that the AI deHaze is a little iffy from the small trials bit I've done with it but I find the AI Sharpen to be very effective on my VHS rips and especially useful when re-diting DVDs I made years ago that are basically VHS rips straight to DVD.
On the latest rework of a clip I made a couple of weeks ago (noticed a glaring error on a date subtitle) the Neat Video cleaned section I replaced with AI sharpen and I think it looks better. It certainly encoded faster. I'm not sure why that should be though.
And as for ProDAD sharpen?? Do I have that and if not why not 😬? Or do you mean Picture Enhanzr RT? - which I don't use now because for some reason it crashes MS2025 more often than not; the other ProDads are stable though.
I highly doubt that you could get these plugins to work with MEP16 or even 2016 (they are not the same - you should always specify which one).
The AI plugins are OFX. I don't know when MEP got OFX capability, but I think that it was more recent than 2016. In any event, you are getting Movie Studio 2025 - so use it, not 2016. It's high time to upgrade.
They are a part of MMS 2025 and not a separate set of plugins but internal like their other non AI plugins.
One way to find out would be if someone gave us a screenshot of where they are grouped in the effects section.
My guess is as I don't have MMS 2025 is you would have to run MMS 2025 to use them. Note the top left hand title. I doubt they would even show up in a slightly older version of VPX.
Apologies for the Prodad Newblue confusion, I'm not into those enhancement thingees normally, but my interest was piqued when I saw how bad the Magix AI Sharpener was.
Newblue Essentials "Sharpen. . . . .
I too have it installed, however it is not activated, it is limited in its options.
The best part about it is that it actually works well. Simple and it works. What's not to like? 😉
