@Christopher-Seiles Rescan the VST path in the program settings.

I did that and now there's a text box entitled MAGIX UPDATE PROGRAM and these words -Starting installation  - 0 operations pending ...
Waiting for application to terminate ...

@Christopher-Seiles Are you running some antivirus of firewall software other than the default Windows Defender and Antivirus?

@Christopher-Seiles

A couple of suggestions for you:

  1. Reboot (Power>Restart) your computer. Don't just Shutdown and then manually restart your computer, that is not the same thing as rebooting.
  2. Check there is no Windows update that is not finished installing.

The main problem now seems to be with VST paths, and the darned thing finding it's own internal components. Like Vita. What do I do there? Thanks for the help so far.

SP. wrote on 10/28/2022, 7:47 AM

@Christopher-Seiles Which paths are listed in the VST path settings? The Vita plugins are usually installed under C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Magix Services\Mxsynth

Ah, it seems I can't use premium functions as I'm not registered, but when I went to register it said the code had already been used so I figured I must have already registered it....sorry, in my defence, I do have memory and cognitive issues.

Christopher-Seiles wrote on 10/28/2022, 7:56 AM

Where do I look to see where the Vita plugins are? I can see a list of paths to VST plugins?

Hi,

Please watch the following tutorial. You don't register a code.

If you have Premium activated, you get access to add VST's under Program Settings, Folders. You don't need to do anything there to get Magix' VST's and VSTi's that you got with Music Maker as it's automatic.
