Many Features Dont Work

Hey guys this is the reply that I got from MAGIX after I contacted them when some of the effects,mainly the 3D ones and some like Fades and Type-writer were missing. I did exactly what was instructed below.I downloaded and de-installed but it never yeilded results. Sadly I have to download again the Soundtrack maker, Design Elements and others.It was a very painful experience.Ihave pasted the letter below. Maybe it was a mistake from my part. Or maybe my downlaod was not proper as the internet connncetion here is poor.

This normally appears because the installation has become corrupted or during the install process a background task has interfered.download any software updates and re-register the software.

Hello Anirban,

I am 99% sure that you will not have to download the ProDAD and Magic Bullet Effects because when you originally installed them they were downloaded as seperate applications.  Since they are "plug-ins" they should be available when you re-install MEP.

I completely understand about slow and expensive downloads I used to live in a place where the best connection I could get was via sattelite.  Now I have fibe blazing fast and relatively cheap.

Im glad im not the only person with this problem and i have still had no sucess of fixing the problem, if you find a solution please tell me thanks

Hello Anirban,

You did not get the results that you needed, but that does not mean we are done.  I am one of these people who will not let go until a successful answer and result has been achieved.  I am a little like a bulldog in that when I see a problem that makes no sense, I will chase it to the ends of the earth to find the answer.  LOL  Listen to me very tough talk and I don't even work for the company.  Anyway, do not dispair, we will figure this out.  By the way did you do the "cleaning" that magix support suggested?

This said the MAGIX support? Then reply to the ticket, what did you have from M;AGIX support.
