Everything is working properly but the image is mute, does anyone know what the problem is?

How is the audio connected?

What are you recording from?

I have this product, but not the SCART cable as it is not used in North America, so I have no idea how to use that.

I connect the cable to the Red/White USB device, and then I take the Red/White cable connections to the audio parts of the VCR, and the Yellow to the video connection.

I am able to record both the audio and video.

If you are using the SCART connection, I couldn't tell you much as I do not have a way of using that connection.
