I bought Magic rescue your VHS videos Movies on DVD7 many years ago but have not used it for a long time. I have found some VHS tapes i want to convert but when i loaded the software again the activation code does not work and i cannot receive a new activation code.
How can i receive a new activation code which works?
Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.
That software is now very old and may not run under Win 10 (we assume that is the version of Windows you now have).
What error message do you receive when you enter the activation code? Please either take a screenshot of it and post the screenshot here or, at the very least, quote it in full.
It might also be very useful to we fellow-users in trying to help you if you were to tell us rather a lot more about your computer and its hardware. Please read this post for the sort of detail we need.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your reply. Yes the software will be very old now and I am trying to install in on my laptop which has Windows 10.
On the TV Media Centre there is a MPEG 2 codec activation dialogue box where you can order a new activation code. An activation code appears but when I enter into the activation box a message appears stating - the activation code is incorrect and to Contact the Magic customer services or enter the correct code.

The activation code is for the CODEC, not the program. Was there supposed to be an activation code for the program?
Also, are you sure that ENMPEG2 is supposed to be part of the activation code?
Out of curiosity, do you happen to have another Magix video editing program that is more recent?
