The program checks my PC and defaults to the activation screen . I put in the serial number and it says that the number is for a different product ERROR -14. I only have the serial number sent in the e-mail. Please fix

Do you mean MAGIX PC Check & Tuning?
The error means you have either installed the wrong version of the product for the serial number you have or the wrong program - eg you cannot use a serial number for the 2020 version in the 2021 version
Which product did you buy the serial number for, where from and when?
Did you download it using the link in the email with the serial number?
If not where did you download it from and which version?

Do you mean MAGIX PC Check & Tuning? Yes it came with the program I bought. I bought the Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab 2 . I got an email with the download instruction from the website and did everything I was supposed to. Cleaning lab works . PC check and Tuning pops up at will with a message that I need to attend to this message. When I try it defaults to the Serial # screen and then the error message.

I do not use PC Check & Tuning, however I suspect that the message that pops up is telling you that your PC is running slow and temp file need clearing etc.
If you did not get a serial number in the email, then I would suggest contacting Magix Sales at infoservice@magix.net.
If you do not need the software, it can be uninstalled as it is not essential for the running of any Magix program.
