None, however I would suggest avoiding importing/exporting video between the 2 programs -each re-encode will reduce the quality of the video just like photocopying a copy of a copy etc does.
I would also say that depending on what you want to do in Elements, depending on the version, could possibly be done in Movie Studio.
I have an external monitor connected to the laptop but it is the same phenomenon on both monitors. The external monitor displays an enlarged copy of what is displayed on the laptop's monitor.
What is the resolution/aspect ratio (AR) of the external monitor?
If the AR is not the same as the laptop ie16:9, you will not get the MMS 2024 to fit either monitor, this is due to the option in Windows settings shown below being set to Duplicate these displays.
When plugging in an external monitor with my laptop, Windows is set to Extend the desktop so I can use both the laptop screen and the external monitor moving the preview monitor as shown below - this image is from my PC however my laptop + external monitor is the same layout.
This arrangement is set as a custom layout, so I can switch between single and dual screen working - to set a custom layout arrange the panes as you require then select Window, Windows arrangement, Save give it an appropriate name a function key shortcut will be automatically assigned to the layout which can be used to switch layouts quickly. You can create multiple different layouts and save them.
In my case, the shortcuts are F9 for the default single screen working and F10 for Dual monitor
Now I have reinstalled Magix 2024 and am met with attached opening screens when I start the program. Image 1 shows up first and when I try to adjust I get to Image 2.
