I have a older Win7 -32 bit computer , I use Windows Movie maker and GoPro Studio.I also have a Win7 Laptop its 64bit. I have just finished the 30 day trial of Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium on my Laptop . I liked Magix and would like to now buy it for my Laptop , but the site seems a bit vague as to what I will actually get , it says for Windows 10 - 64 bit but the 30 day trial version worked ok on my Win7 Laptop 64bit , is there a 32bit Win7 version ? Can anyone help me with another site I could purchase from or maybe a alternative program I could possible try that's similar to Magix ( easy to use ) I only want to do basic editing for personal use .

@johnsonplaid

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

ALL recent versions of Magix software are 64 bit only, so there are no versions which will run on a 32 bit machine, sorry.

Also, since Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft, no recent version of Magix software can be guaranteed to run successfully under that OS. One particular problem that users of Win 7 have reported is caused by the fact that current Magix video editing software requires DirectX 12 which is not available with Win 7, I understand.

Unfortunately, the fact that the Trial version ran successfully on your 64 bit Win 7 laptop is no guarantee that the full, paid for version will still work! Once the Premium edition is purchased there will be a lot of additional content to download and install.

Hi

In addition to @emmrecs comment.

Given you are still using Windows 7 on both laptops, are they of similar vintage as Windows 7?

What are the specifications of both laptops - see this topic for details of what is required - please quote the processor and graphics card/chipset make/model in full.
