Hi

Either:-

When you updated the program, you did not check the Transfer program data checkbox on the update screen  - if you do not check this then the program requires re-activating.

Or

You have a second copy on another computer and this is the current active one.

If the latter then you can only change computers once per month, however I suspect this is not the case with your problem

You can deactivate any activated computer (at your own risk) as follows:

  1. Go to the Magix website - magix.com and click the My Account icon top right of the home page


     
  2. Login with the email address and password you used to register the software, click My Products.
     
  3. Locate MEP 2015 and click the Show activated devices link.
     
  4. You will now see the activated device details.
     
  5. You can deactivate the installation here.
     
  6. Rerun MEP 2015 and it should ask you to register.
