Magix is replacing audio recordings in my arrangements with audio recordings from my other arrangements!!!

I've had this problem for years. I used to have Magix Music Maker 15 and this would seem to happen at random, causing me to constantly delete auido tracks and re-record them.. Quite frustrating. I now have Magix Music Maker 2015 and I am now experiencing this problem yet again. I open one of my arrangements and some of the recordings are permanently switched to recordings from other arrangements.. Is there any way to fix this or prevent this from happening? Has anyone else ever encountered this problem??

Hi

. . . . I've had this problem for years. I used to have Magix Music Maker 15 . . . I now have Magix Music Maker 2015 and I am now experiencing this problem yet again . . .

I have had several versions if Music Maker and have not come across this problem with the software.

What is your workflow for creating projects, saving them and starting new projects?

Thank you for the reply john. Right now I have a somewhat Tall order. Yes I start a new project, get as far as I can save it, and start others, often returning to past arrangements for other additions or mixing. I have a friend who start using magix music maker with me back in the day, and he has also had this problem ever since, using the software. He juggest making at least two back up saves for every saved arrangement. He says Music Maker has never been able to corrupt all three saves of his arrangements in this way. Guess I'll have to start doing this.

So even with the back up saves made, Magix Music Maker still replaces the same audio file in all versions of the arrangement. Looks like I'm cursed to constantly re-record.
