MAGIX ADWARE Made me delete MUSIC MAKER and XARA FOREVER!

Fix: Goto Remove Programs and look for Connect by Magix. Get rid of it there.

I purchased a Humble Bundle Music Maker bundle, thought it was cute, so I upgraded to the full version . Then I started getting this HUGE pop up on my screen to upgrade to all sorts of things like Xara(which I also own) Frustrated, I deleted the software and my whole set up with my addons just to stop the incessantly annoying popups. To no avail, they just kept coming even after I removed your software!

I WILL NOT EVER BUY A SINGLE ADDON, PRODUCT, HUMBLE BUNDLE OR ANYTHING FROM YOUR COMPANY EVER AGAIN, AND WILL TELL ALL OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT YOUR MISERABLE MARKETING PRACTICE OF ADWARE!

Wow! I get some pop-ups in the lower right of my screen, occasionally, sometime Magix, sometimes Corel, sometimes others. I don't remember a pop-up advert having "made me" do anything other than click it off.

If you had taken 5 minutes to review this forum, you would have seen how to turn-off this feature. BTW, Xara just came out with a new version. How would you know if they didn't tell you?

I have many Magix products and I don't get pestered with pop-up ads. Unless you can show me differently, I think that you are highly exaggerating.

i have seen popups, during opening of Music Maker\Samplitude Music Studio , or when closing those programs ., and NOT every time . i have Never seen a "free style" out-of-the-blue , popup from Magix . While MM and SMS are running , i have Never seen a popup .

The popups really are awful, and all it really does is piss me off

Then turn them off. Open Magix Connect and deactivate all of the programs for which you don't want the pop-up at the lower right of your computer. If you don't use any Magix products, then uninstall Magix Connect.

Good luck with any other ones non-Magix) that pop-up at the lower right of your computer.
