(Sorry in advance if this sounds like a rant)
After numerous re-installs of the latest Magix 2020 on several computers with fresh Windows 10 - MMM 2020 never gets stable enough for intensive music production.
I've helped my wife - who's the true music-maker in our family - with quite a few support requests to Magix as well and since we started to file reports about the instability in late 2019 not a single update has been released by Magix..:(
Not even the automatic project backup within the application is reliable - 1 out of 30 projects maybe gets a project backup copy. Seriously bad Magix IMO.
Both the arranger and file browser are subjects to frequent crashes and application lockups way more often than expected for what Magix calls "The best version ever of Magix Music Maker".
Unsupported files has been removed as suggested by Magix support staff but the issue re-occours later with other supported files...
And...if someone claims the application is for free, that is only partly true, the loops and instruments plus more are being paid for and they still need a stable foundation to rely on.
As the subject implied, however if...just for the fun of it, I created a virtual machine with Win7-64bit and 12GB memory on one of the Windows 10 hosts where we have Magix installed and guess what? MMM 2020 now runs way more stable with the same amount of loops and visual effects + video media - from what I've read, other users of MMM on Windows 10 are having problems as we speak, why is nothing being made to fix this???

Per
